Spoilers for episode 60 of Dragonball Super.
So, can you really blame me for this one? I know I'm super critical of Dragonball Super but I am enjoying it overall. I'm a heavy veteran DBZ/Future Trunks fan so yes I have been critical, but I'm happy to recognize when they get something right. Granted I feel the storytelling here was rushed. It feels like we're coming to the climax so they needed to firmly establish the relationship between Trunks and Mai in a hurry. Not great storytelling in my opinion. However, I approve of how Trunks was directed. He didn't even hesitate. He wasn't embarrassed or shy, his friend was in danger and he knew he had to act fast. Good on ya blue-haired Trunks

I hate Super because of Mai. Even little Mai from 'our' universe is more than forty years old. More than forty! She rejuvenate the body, not the mind, which means that Trunks for her should be like a grandson, or the child, rather than a love interest. Is she a pedo? I do not believe in such
a friensgip, not even a little. It is forced like, even Toriyama said he did it cuz of lack of romance in DB series. Really, how did she even survive in that rocky desert being a baby? I hate the writers-pieces-of-shit and Toriyama, who allowed them to do this with his masterpiece. Which is not any masterpiece now. Not any longer…
