Trunks struggled hard to pull himself free, but it only made Celari pull on him tighter. Her face began to sweat again. Trunks was the strongest opponent she’d been up against in a long time. But she was strong too, both physically and willfully.

This is one of my favorite scenes.
*On account of Trunks' loud shoes, Celari mistakenly calls him "Boots". The name sticks around.
Trunks struggled hard to pull himself free, but it only made Celari pull on him tighter. Her face began to sweat again. Trunks was the strongest opponent she’d been up against in a long time. But she was strong too, both physically and willfully.
“Are you ready to throw in the towel, Boots?*” she mocked him, clenching even harder.
“G-hak!” Trunks winced.
“Don’t be ashamed!…” Celari continued to egg him on, but the stress in her voice was clear. “You’re a very gifted fighter… but don’t forget… you’re only human after all!”
That’s when the ball dropped.
Trunks’ eyes opened wide, and his body exploded with a powerful golden aura surprising Celari. He broke free of her grip and disappeared.
“AH!” She turned in time to see Trunks reappear behind her.
“That’s where you’re wrong!”***
