It's always been you.

So here's my dream couple from One Piece = the cliche Sanji x Nami. This was a spur of the moment inspiration while watching my husband play Unlimited Adventure. I sketched it out and colored it (with copic markers) all within a couple days.

Something i love about One Piece is Oda never dives into romance between the crew. He was thoughtful enough to let the fans create their own love interests, which is what i've done here.

Imagine if Sanji were to finally decide to commit himself to one woman only, well obviously it would be to none other than this fiery red-head.

...But would Nami really accept?

Well let me ask you this - Sanji is handsome, charming, a good cook, and willing to die for you at the drop of a hat - What soundly logical and intelligent woman could possibly resist such a prince?


EDIT: you know, the more i look at this the more i'm glad i didn't draw his eye(s). i think his affection is displayed beautifully with his hands and body language. it makes a real difference (imo) when you leave small stuff like that up to the imagination.
